Studio Lutalica | Women and Gender Constituency
The Women and Gender Constituency (WGC), a UNFCCC-recognised feminist coalition advancing gender justice in global climate action, needed a digital home that held its broad scope without feeling opaque or institutional. Serving diverse audiences, from negotiators seeking policy positions to journalists needing quick context, the challenge was creating a brand and website that made complex advocacy legible at a glance yet vibrant and movement-led.
To solve this, user journeys were mapped around real audience needs, ensuring direct, frictionless routes to vital resources, briefs, and actions. Avoiding flat NGO tropes, the visual identity, “Collective Roots,” expanded an existing hand-drawn star motif, pairing organic forms and bright colours with clear typography and practical campaign collateral. The result gives WGC a confident platform that balances serious policy authority with an ethos of care, community, and collective power.
