Studio in Chiostro | Risonanze
Risonanze is an interactive visual installation exploring impermanence through physical contact. The piece remains dormant until activated by touch, turning a large projection surface into a responsive digital canvas. I developed a real-time generative particle simulation. Using a laser-based spatial scanning setup, the system tracks hand positions in real time. These coordinates feed dynamic forces into the simulation creating temporary visual patterns that dissolve as soon as the hand pulls away.
The space also hosted two complementary works developed the previous year:
A procedural piece reflecting on digital cognitive overload. A system of simulated eyes continuously glances and wanders across the frame, never settling on a single focal point.
A live-camera installation exploring visual perception. Frame-by-frame motion tracking isolates movement and renders dynamic colored blobs over active areas, abstracting how we naturally perceive motion.
